Authoring Coach 2.5

Sajan’s Authoring Coach™ (AC) is the industry’s leading authoring memory tool that provides live, interactive access to existing source content from any Windows authoring application. With the ability to quickly access and re-use existing content, authors can improve the quality and consistency of their global content while significantly reducing translation costs. Authoring Coach™ is not an editor; rather, it works along with editors or any other authoring application.

Sajan’s Authoring Coach 2.5 has the flexibility for use as a desktop authoring memory tool, and is also equipped with a web services interface for network or GCMS integration. Users can use AC 2.5 for new content creation by accessing a network in which all content is stored and retrieved, but also allows for single desktop use.

Given the multitude of different scenarios in which a creator would use content, AC is not one size fits all. There are different editions to AC which can be easily adapted to a different edition at any time. AC has the following product lines to suit your unique content needs:

  • Authoring Coach Enterprise™

    Authoring Coach Synched™
    Authoring Coach Synched uses a configurable network server which houses authoring memory and a web services interface to trigger translation project submissions to Sajan’s GCMS, or your preferred Language Service Provider (LSP). This process is automated and seamless: checking for new content, submitting translation projects, and then automated checking for new translated content to check back into the memory for use with AC content creation.

    Authoring Coach Enterprise™
    Authoring Coach Enterprise is the integration of AC Synched with GCMS, and using our X-Content Integration™ package, open integration framework for all content management systems, files systems and other business applications, resulting in an enterprise solution for all global content creation, translation, and re-use.

    Authoring Coach-TMX (Desktop)

    The Authoring Coach™-TMX product offers users interactive access to existing content from any Windows authoring application. The TMX version operates in the desktop environment and enables authors/writers the ability to take full advantage from a local TMX (Translation Memory eXchange) file by presenting previously approved content.

    This can offer immediate value by avoiding new translation cost, as well improve quality by leveraging more consistent source content. Authoring Coach-TMX may be used in more of the desktop environment where an enterprise solution may not be necessary.
