Translation Quality
Sajan’s approach to translation quality is a 3-step ISO Certified process which
uses Sajan technology to ensure the highest level translation quality:
1. Acceptance into the Sajan Translator Management System (STMS)
Sajan knows that translators are the core of language services, and finding the
right linguist is critical to the success of your globalization efforts.
Linguists must meet certain criteria before they are admitted into the Sajan
Translator Management System – making them available as potential team members
to Sajan clients.
2. Solidifying Client Translation Teams
Sajan gathers requirements from new clients & then uses that information to
screen all linguists within the STMS to find those best suited for that
particular client. Those linguist profiles are then provided to the client for
them to approve, and then samples are obtained from the chosen profiled
linguists. From those samples, the clients may select their own linguists for their team.
Linguists approved by the client are then designated team members who will
provide all translations for that client.
3. Continual Improvement through Sajan’s Total Quality Management System (TQM)
Through Sajan’s Total Quality Management System (TQM), continual improvement of
both process and translation quality is constant. This quality rating is made
up of the individual linguists’ performance including: turnaround times,
stylistic preferences, consistency – the ability to obtain percentages of
changes made to existing translations & reasons for those modifications,
meeting of deadlines, and fulfillment of availability agreements.
